A Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the day to day operation inside a warehouse. The Warehouse Supervisor oversees the different tasks that have to be performed by the warehouse staff on a specific shift. The warehouse supervisor usually reports to a logistics manager. The Supervisory tasks of the warehouse supervisor are to ensure that the warehouse staff is working according to quality, and safety, standards. He may also be responsible for training of new warehouse staff. The warehouse supervisor is the one who needs to act disciplinary when warehouse employees break rules. The warehouse supervisor is always in charge of the entire workforce on duty in the warehouse on a specific shift. Warehouse Supervisor Salary The salary for a warehouse supervisor is around $39,000 per year. Given the working conditions in most warehouses the job is considered to be a 40 hour per week job. Overtime working may be needed and this is paid separately.
